Dogs at Tregulland

We welcome dogs at Tregulland but request a maximum of two per house.

We do ask that dogs are not allowed upstairs or in the bedrooms and usually that they sleep in the utility room. We have two dog bowls in each house and guests and their pets are welcome to walk around our 16 acres of land. We request that dogs are kept on a lead around the lake, particularly if there are sheep in the field.

We like to highlight that Tregulland is set in the countryside and dogs will need to be kept under close supervision to prevent them from going into neighbouring farmland.

We also ask that dogs are not left alone in the house.

We make a charge of £50 per dog which covers cleaning, emptying the dog bins and checking the gardens and play areas after departure.

During peak season most beaches prohibit dogs. However nearby Black Rock Beach at Widemouth Bay allows dogs all year around and most National Trust beaches, for example Sandymouth near Bude permit dogs on a lead during peak season.
