Guest Fishing

The lake is periodically restocked with fish as required, so bring your rod and see what you can catch - there is nothing quite as satisfying as catching, cooking and eating your supper!

Fishing is positively encouraged at Blackbird, but you must have your own Government Fishing Rod Licence which can be applied for here, as well as a permit from us to fish our lake. Please email hello@tregulland.co.uk to request a fishing permit.

NB: Please double bag any fish guts before putting into the rubbish bin. We do not provide or hire out fishing equipment.

The weed is regularly removed from our end of the lake, but does regrow each year.  Please be aware that due to the treeline, fly fishing is not always your best option.
