Glorious Things to Do

Less than half an hour drive from Tregulland is one of our favourite beaches - Summerleaze in the charming seaside town of Bude. The beach has a large breakwater and viewing tower protecting a small harbour containing the confluence of the river Neet and the Bude canal with its impressive lock gates. There's also a recently revamped Sea Pool (pictured above) with its salt water refreshed twice a day (by the tide) for a bracing dip all year round! The beach opens up into vast stretches of golden sand flanked by grassy downs and the South West Coast path

Focus on a room - Barn Owl

This room has calming colours and simple fabrics which enhance the cosy, natural feel. Luxuriously kitted out with a queen sized double bed, and (as with every bedroom at Tregulland) its own en suite shower room with HansGrohe rainfall shower. This shower room also features an ingenious solartube to provide natural light. Barn Owl was named after a beautiful real barn owl used to perch on its beam (visible above the bed) before the renovation. BTW:If you follow our nature feed on @TregullandLife you'll know that in the last few months, owl pellets and other evidence show that our barn owl is indeed back!

Sneak Peek - Airstream

If you have ever dreamed of staying in an Airstream... soon you could get your chance! The hideous old, beige, moulded plastic interior has been removed, tip top insulation is in, and it's soon to be kitted out in true Tregulland style. Available to rent as overflow accommodation at Tregulland from Spring 2016.
