BEFORE YOU GO:  CHECK OUT CHECKLIST

DEPARTURE TIME

It is important to leave on time (10am sharp – no late checkouts allowed), as we need every minute to return the houses to a pristine state for our next guests

BEDS

Now that the risks of Covid are better understood, there is no need to strip your beds any longer.  Just pull the duvet back to air the bed and leave for our cleaning team.

KITCHEN

Please remove all your left-over food and drink from the kitchen (take it with you or get rid of it with your other rubbish).  Please leave the kitchens clear and dishwasher on a short 25 minute 45°wash

NB do not pour large amounts of milk or alcohol down the sink – it disrupts the delicate balance of the reed bed filtration system.  Take it with you or just leave in the fridge and our staff will dispose of it – please don’t leave any other food in the fridges.

LEAVE IT AS YOU FIND IT

As an experienced provider of delux holiday homes we take great pleasure in supplying a large list of extras from kitchen kit via cosy blankets to outsized outdoor games, but as I’m sure you can understand, keeping tabs on it all is a mission!  If you have moved any furniture or equipment (including outdoor games etc) to a different location please return it to where you found it as we have detailed inventories of where and how many of everything we supply.

RUBBISH AND RECYCLING

Please put all tied black binbags from the kitchen bins into the bin store in the top cottage carpark. Our bin day is Thursday, wheelie bins can be put out on the junction of the road and drive, by our giant logo rock beside the cottage carpark. Recycling can be decanted from the kitchen stores into the large recycling bins at the top of the steep drive opposite the barn.

HOTTUB

Please make sure you have emptied the old water out and clipped the lid on securely using the straps and clips

SECURITY
Please check that all windows and external doors are locked shut before leaving – the weather can get very wild very swiftly on the moors.
