"This was to celebrate my 90th Birthday with all my close family. Never in that long time have I experienced such luxury. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, games on the terrace, wonderful dining room and views. We all loved the Nature Trail and Holy Well, surfing and climbing Brown Willy (not me... i only got as far as Rough Tor!) Thank you so much"

I echo every sentiment above! Starting on our 55th wedding anniversary it has been glorious including swimming in the sea with the goddesses (daughters and granddaughters) and then the wonderful sons saving me (from the rough sea)! 14th Feb 2020 - til - now (Covid) has been a LONG time, we have so enjoyed all of this weekend. "We were here with the whole family to celebrate several postponed birthdays including a '60' milestone - and be together with the 'overseas' part of the family since COVID and this is the BEST place to do just that! Fabulous accommodation, lovely pool, great views! We had the best meal cooked for us on Tuesday, and the well equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook for yourselves here as well."

What a wonderful time our family has had here. Both the cottage and barn are absolutely stunning, the attention to detail is impeccable and each room is so unique in its styling. We all enjoyed the pool and steam room, the cinema room was perfect for the entire family but without a doubt the surrounding lands, the river and the lake were out of this world. My dad wanted me to mention his two catches also... two beautiful mirror carp which made his week! Every single one of us is going away amazed by this place and can't wait to come back soon! Thank you so much!

My name is Mike and here is what I like. The huge stone flagons on the floors. The beautiful Oak beams and the tri-fold doors. The underfloor heating so nice on the feet. The silky smooth Egyptian sheet. The mirrors, pictures and cowhides too. The eclectic mixture of old and new. The fresh water pool - a joy to swim in. Made all the better by scantily clad women. I could go on - there is so much more...
